But I ...I just very randomly came across this page! But I am actually in that same class at the University of Maine, and it was definitely blown out of proportion. If she would have stayed in the class long enough, she would have realized that he was saying that because of the freedom, we COULD burn the flag, not that we SHOULD do it. He was showing us how powerful the amendment is. I can see how controversial the topic is, but he is a sweet man and is just trying to teach his journalism students, and that is clearly not something that McDade is trying to express to the nation. He never asked us to do anything, and I think everyone understood that but her!Samihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14595135534176791064noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1405022718926116083.post-56784497345306399992007-11-05T11:46:00.000-05:002007-11-05T11:46:00.000-05:00Back in the early 1990s when I was an education ma...Back in the early 1990s when I was an education major at Bowling Green State University, the Rodney King riots were center-stage in the MSM and my Intro to Ed. professor encouraged us to burn down our cities as an expression of solidarity with those in L.A.
