It's expected to feature photos and video clandestinely taken inside Cuban health facilities. It is BushitlerCheneyHaliburton Co. that is instituting fascism in America and is forcing the non-conformists into re-education camps. Only evil Republicans would ever think of forcing you to do something you don't want to do. Don't you guys ready Daily Kos???

/sarcasmAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1405022718926116083.post-61857164849454249142007-09-06T07:57:00.000-04:002007-09-06T07:57:00.000-04:00I agree with bbartlog. I've got no problem with that, but car insurance rates went up dramatically about the same time the law went into effect. What a coincidence. 2. The amount of time required to get a non-emergent doctor's appointment can be ridiculous now. Imagine what it will be like if this goes into effect. Rural clinics like the one I go to will be swamped, and there just aren't that many doctors and/or nurse practitioners to go around. That's my two cents worth.Denisehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00916287803932744705noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1405022718926116083.post-6752840171200421182007-09-05T16:54:00.000-04:002007-09-05T16:54:00.000-04:00People seriously need to wake up to the ever real ...People seriously need to wake up to the ever real threat of the nanny state here in the United States of America, even though it has crept in already with the 'New Deal' and the 'Great Society' programs.

"...When I'm president, privatization is off the table because it's not the answer to anything." (Guess who).

That is the harbinger of what to come if these socialists get into office.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1405022718926116083.post-54330320027803676582007-09-05T15:00:00.000-04:002007-09-05T15:00:00.000-04:00I think Edwards is stupid enough not to have given...I think Edwards is stupid enough not to have given a moment's thought to what actual penalties would have to be put in place to ensure compliance. He no doubt assumes that no one would object to such an obviously right-thinking program, and that the main reason people don't get checkups now is for reasons of cost or laziness. Of course there's a whole universe of people (Amish, Christian Scientists and I don't know who all else) who don't accept mainstream medicine, don't vaccinate their kids, and would probably get hit with criminal charges under an oppressive nanny state like this. Or better yet (from the state's perspective), don't bother with the criminal charges, just take away the kids and put them in foster care.
Not that I was voting for Edwards anyway, but it's nice to have the info.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
